Royalty

The MSLBRA Royalty Pageant will be held at the November rodeo in the building in front of the main arena. Interview and horsemanship will be held on Friday, November 10th (Time TBA) and the pageant will be held on Saturday 1-hour after the rodeo (Probably around 7-7:30). The Royalty Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 immediately following the rodeo in the main bleachers next to the office. Any questions, contact Ashley Sherman at 601-543-3518.

Contestants will need to bring a 5 x 7 headshot to the rodeo – this should be in color – this is NOT for photogenic judging / it is only to help the judges remember faces. This should be a head and shoulder shot with a hat and western attire. This does not have to be a professional studio shot – again it is not part of the judging.

Outfits are pretty easy – make sure you follow the guidelines – points will be deducted for not following the dress code requirements. For horsemanship there should be no “bling” on the rider or the horse.

The MSLBRA pageant is NOT a preliminary pageant for the NLBRA pageant – it is for our local franchise only.

Entry forms need to be turned in or emailed to Pageant Director, Ashley Sherman or the Rodeo Secretary, Ashley Eakes by October 15, 2023.
